Washington County Jail Roster Overview
The Washington County Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Mike Robinson, publishes the official local custody list from the Washington County Corrections Facility / Washington County Justice Center in Blair. The county roster is reached from the sheriff's Current Jail List page, which links to a dated PDF. It is free to view and does not require an account, but it is not a database with a last-name box or inmate profile pages.
On the inspected June 19, 2026 roster PDF, the header reported 89 people in custody, with WCSO: 88, D&E: 1, Other: 0, Total: 89. The roster is best for current county jail custody, including local arrests, outside-county holds, sentenced county inmates, and ICE hold notations when they appear. It should not be treated as a complete Nebraska inmate search, a court record, or a historical booking archive.
The sheriff's jail-list landing page is the official starting point for the daily roster PDF.
The page confirms why users need to open the dated PDF first, then use a PDF find tool rather than expecting a county search form.
How to Use the Washington County Inmate Roster
Use the roster as a current custody document. If the person was just arrested, the PDF may not show the booking yet, so the jail phone line remains an important confirmation step.
- Open the sheriff's Current Jail List page and select the dated "View Current Jail List" PDF.
- Use the PDF viewer's find command to search for a last name, agency abbreviation, charge term, "ICE HOLD," "NO BOND," or a release date.
- Read across the full row because the agency/hold line, charge text, received date, housed/court-date field, DOB, and bond/release field work together.
- Call Jail Information at 402-426-6861 if the PDF is stale, a new arrest is missing, or a hold or bond entry is unclear.
- For records not online, contact the Sheriff's Office at 444 South 16th St, Blair, NE 68008 and request the specific booking, jail, or incident record under Nebraska public-records law.
Washington County PDF Roster Fields
Washington County does not publish a roster form with typed search fields. The useful "fields" are the dated PDF link and the columns inside the roster itself.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current Jail List PDF date link | PDF link | No form | Link text uses a date such as 06-19-26. |
| Search within PDF | Browser or PDF find | Optional | Use Ctrl+F or the viewer's find tool for names, agencies, holds, charge terms, or bond language. |
| Name | Roster column | Not user input | Usually last name, first name, and middle initial or middle name. |
| Agency / hold and charges | Roster column | Not user input | May show WCSO, BPD, NSP, outside-county holds, OPD holds, ICE HOLD, sentenced status, and booking charges. |
| Received and time | Roster column | Not user input | Shows the custody receive date and 24-hour booking or intake time. |
| Housed / scheduled court date | Roster column | Not user input | Often shows WCSO, and may include a scheduled court date in the same area. |
| DOB | Roster column | Not user input | Date of birth appears in MM-DD-YY format. |
| Bond amount / release date | Roster column | Not user input | May show 10% bond, cash bond, no bond, hold language, ICE hold, or a release date and time. |
What a Roster Record Shows
The Washington County daily roster functions as the public inmate-record view. There are no separate clickable profiles and no booking-photo thumbnails in the inspected PDF. The June 19, 2026 roster included these record elements.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Facility/count header | Current population summary, including WCSO, D&E, Other, and Total. The inspected PDF showed 89 total. |
| Name | The person's name as listed by the jail, usually in last-name-first order. |
| Agency or hold line | Arresting or holding agency, including local agencies, outside counties, sentenced entries, or ICE HOLD when listed. |
| Charges | Booking and hold charges in plain language. These are not necessarily final filed court charges. |
| Received / time | Date and 24-hour intake time for the custody entry. |
| Housed / scheduled court date | Facility-level housed notation, commonly WCSO, and sometimes court-date information. |
| DOB | Date of birth. Use it to separate people with similar names. |
| Bond amount / release date | Cash bond, 10% bond, no-bond language, hold notation, ICE hold, or scheduled release details for sentenced jail entries. |
| Not shown | No mugshot, booking number, physical description, pod/cell assignment, or statute-code table was shown in the inspected PDF. |
County, State, Federal, and ICE Custody
One common error is using the sheriff's PDF as if it covered every custody system. It does not. The county roster is for the Blair jail. Sentenced state prisoners move to Nebraska Department of Correctional Services records, federal prisoners use federal channels, and immigration detention uses ICE tools.
| Custody Type | Where to Look | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Current county custody | Washington County daily PDF roster, then Jail Information at 402-426-6861 | Pretrial detainees, local sentenced jail inmates, outside holds, and local ICE hold notes when listed. |
| Sentenced Nebraska prison | NDCS incarceration records search | State-prison custody after a felony sentence or NDCS intake. Requires last name or DCS ID. |
| Victim notification | Nebraska Victims of Crime Alert Portal | Notification and offender-search routing, not a substitute for the county jail roster. |
| Sentenced federal inmate | Federal BOP inmate locator | Federal Bureau of Prisons custody by name or federal number type. |
| Federal pretrial custody | U.S. Marshals District of Nebraska or the actual holding facility | USMS custody does not have a public county-style roster for every detainee. |
| Immigration detention | ICE Online Detainee Locator System | Immigration detainees. A Washington County "ICE HOLD" entry may only be a local detainer note. |
Washington County Jail Facility Contact
Washington County's facility map has one local detention facility: the sheriff-operated Corrections Facility inside the Justice Center. The sheriff's Justice Center page gives the jail phone lines and inmate-service links. The 120-bed capacity comes from the sheriff's archive for the justice-center bond project, while the 89-person count comes from the June 19, 2026 daily roster.

Booking, Bonds, and Records Requests
After an arrest by Blair Police, Nebraska State Patrol, Washington County Sheriff's deputies, or another holding agency, the person is brought to the Justice Center for booking. The sheriff's jail page says booking includes fingerprinting, photographs, and other processing, and that the jail records system stores charges, medical condition, bond amount, and other details. A newly booked person may not appear on the public PDF immediately.
Bond information appears in the roster's bond/release column, but the court controls bond and release conditions. A 10% bond, cash amount, "NO BOND," outside-county hold, or ICE HOLD can change whether payment leads to release. Verify the current amount and all holds with Jail Information or the court before trying to post bond.
For a record that is not on the roster, make a targeted public-records request to the Washington County Sheriff's Office. Include the person's name, received date, approximate booking date or time, agency/hold line, and the type of record requested. Nebraska public-records law is broad, but investigative, medical, security, victim-identifying, and protected criminal-history information may be withheld or redacted.
Visitation Schedule and Rules
Washington County uses scheduled video visitation through Combined Public Communications/InmateSales. Visits must be scheduled ahead of time, either through the visitation kiosk at the center or online through the vendor. Registration is required and account approval can take up to 48 hours.
| Visit Type | Schedule / Length | Cost | Rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| On-site Video Visitation Center | Available appointment times shown during scheduling; 25 minutes | Free | Two 25-minute visits per inmate per week; check in 15 minutes early. |
| Remote video visit | Available appointment times shown during scheduling; 25 minutes; ends automatically | Fee not located on county page | Same registration and scheduling rules; no visits while driving, operating machinery, or doing unsafe activities. |
| Holiday or weekend Justice Center visits | None at the Justice Center | Not applicable | The sheriff says there is no visitation on holidays or weekends at the Justice Center. |
The official jail visitation guidelines page is the source for the scheduling window, identification rules, and recording restrictions.
Visitors should expect monitored visits, photo-ID requirements, limits on approved visitors, dress rules, no phones or electronic devices in the video visitation area, and strict bans on screenshots, recording, photographing, or posting visit content.
Phone, Mail, Money, and App Options
The Justice Center page links phone and video-visit funding through InmateSales / Combined Public Communications. The visitation rules list the CPC help line as 877-998-5678. Family and friends may deposit commissary funds in person at the Justice Center or through JailATM. Inmates may not receive items brought by family or friends; hygiene items, undergarments, and permitted personal items are handled through commissary.
Mail details were limited in the official local material reviewed. The Justice Center page links to email-to-inmate information through InmateSales, but a complete physical-mail rule page was not located, so confirm address format and restrictions with Jail Information before sending physical mail.
No official Washington County, Nebraska sheriff app or Blair Police app was located in the research. No app-only roster, warrant search, most-wanted list, or records portal should be assumed. Use the sheriff's PDF roster, Jail Information line, public-records request route, NDCS, NEVCAP, BOP, and ICE systems instead.
Note: Confirm custody status with the jail before scheduling a visit, sending money, or relying on bond information from an older PDF.
